The FFIpS app is provided by the natural research society of Saarland, DELATTINIA e.V.
The app was created as part of the FörTax project - promotion of taxonomic knowledge as a basis for nature conservation / Saarland Academy for Species Knowledge.The main goal of the FFIpS app is to simplify the reporting of species observations for the faunistic floristic information portal of the Saarland and the Saar-Moselle region.
Reported observations can be verified or checked for plausibility by species specialists on the portal and are available to other users for research.
Users must be registered on the portal (www.ffips.de) before using the app.
